Dance

'Dance is the union of time and space. Its limitations and transitory nature form the very nature of its beauty. It only exists in time and memory. One must constantly keep on seeking it out and rediscovering it. It is a never-ending search for a perfection to which one can only aspire in each succesive performance.'

(Quoted from: The Art of Teaching Classical Ballet. Woytek Lowski (1998) Dance Books Ltd., London)

Dance transforms images, ideas, and feelings into movement sequences that are personally and socially significant. It provides a context for understanding the world and contributes to cultural and personal development in both applied and expressive contexts. Dance offers opportunities for the exploration, discovery and development of natural instincts for movement and offers many benefits for students by encouraging mental and emotional development as well as enhancing motor skills.
